Our Management Team

Founded in 2009, ITXen™, LLC merged the skill sets of Matt Darlington and Chris Rogers. With over 19 years in the world of technology, Matt spent 11 years with IBM. Among numerous accomplishments at IBM, he was a key player in the development and implementation of the SAN (Storage Area Network) Central support team. Serving as an overlay to the standard IBM product support, it was tasked with supporting all of IBM’s products within any SAN environment¸ including IBM’s competitors. Leading the transition from SAN Central to Solution Central, Matt successfully managed this process while being utilized as a storage network solutions expert in IBM’s Solution Central solution team in Raleigh. Capitalizing on his expansive industry knowledge and communication skills, he taught storage and networking protocol, SAN product and lectured on Storage Networking Solution Best Practices during his tenure with IBM. In 2007, Matt focused his energies on developing relationships with Citrix. Briefly working for them in their Emerging Products Team, Matt was responsible for developing solutions for clients utilizing Citrix and the Xen product line. While assisting and training numerous key Citrix partners on the Xen product line, he established himself as an expert in the industry thereby laying the groundwork for the concept and successful launching of ITXen™.

Chris Rogers brings over 16 years of IT experience. From a B.S. in Astrophysics from the University of Virginia, to advanced degree work at the University of Maryland and the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, to contracting with NASA as a technician for five years for software and hardware implementation, Chris’ experience and knowledge base spans the spectrum of IT. Being introduced to “Virtualization Technology” in 2005, Chris established close working relationships with Xensource and its founders. Working on the Xensource Joint Development Program and contributing to the open source Xen hypervisor project, Chris was the number one producing partner for Xensource in 2007. When Citrix purchased Xensource, Chris became a Citrix Gold Certified Solutions Advisor. Receiving the Citrix Technology Professional Award, Chris became one of only 28 technicians in the world to hold this honor. He is currently one of only 6 to hold the award with a specific focus on XenServer.

Matt and Chris recognized the value of pooling their talents to form an organization that will provide solutions for the future. With abilities to handle the basic IT work needed by any organization while simultaneously leading the industry in developing the future direction of IT, ITXen™ creates a synergy that will quickly lead the industry. Tremendous markets are beginning to gravitate toward virtual solutions and as those solutions become more cost effective, ITXen™ is preparing for this onslaught of demand. Virtual solutions will emerge as the new standard for governments, businesses, and the worldwide personal computing masses.
